Are there stronger arguments? Implicit in your support for racial profiling is that it makes the US safer, but this language implies that we're just gambling. Indeed, relying too heavily on racial profiling might allow a terrorist through. So, how would you counter this?
One way would be to point to the reality that there are limited resources (even for the US) to practicably devote to any issue.
