Supplemental housing can be a drag at times. For example, one of my roomates snores awfully loud at night and in return that keeps everyone awake. We frequently have to hit him to get him to stop. In result of the hitting, he gets very upset and wants to start fights.

I am trying to decide which kind of drunk is the best drunk to have. Beer drunks are fun, but they leave you beloated. With a hard alcohol drunk, sometimes you just can't remember stuff. The last remaining drunk would have to be the wine drunk. Although it leaves a nasty hangover, it is a fun loving drunk and it doesn't leave you feeling fat.

There is a proposed law in the senate right now called "The ChildHelp National Registry Act," and it would mandate that federal authorities keep a database of convicted child predators and child abusers. Senator Ted Kennedy is trying to push his agenda by attaching some hate crime legislation to this act. It is fine that he wants the hate crime legislation, but lets make sure the kids are safe and quit wasting valuable time.

The Milwaukee Brewers baseball season is looking more promising with every passing spring training game. The Brew Crew will take many teams in the NL by suprise. We have built our team around 3 young superstars. Rickie Weeks, JJ Hardy, and Prince Fielder will all be eventual all stars. We have a dominant pitcher in Ben Sheets and a new quality owner who wants to win. The city of Milwaukee is ready to goto the playoffs baby.

Ohio Judge John Conner is a sick man who has ruined many lives based on his rulings. A 46 man had anal sex and oral sex with two boys the ages of 5 and 12. He raped them over a time of 3 years. Judge Conner claims the man has a disease just as the judge has diseases. The Judge is referring to his alcoholism in which he has been arrested 8 times for DUI’s. He has been convicted 3 times. This is one of the most appalling judges America has ever seen. On top of that, Judge Conner released a man early from prison who had multiple crimes. The man came out, drove drunk, and killed two teenagers. In my mind this judge is a criminal and the people of Ohio need to act and remove him from the courts NOW.

The American Civil Liberties Union is out of control. Several people around the nation have gone as far as to declare them as terrorists. I think the ACLU is a bunch of terrorists. {Maybe they're just sympathizers since none of the ACLU's members have actually committed terrorist acts, have they? TheKemBlog} The ACLU seems to try to do everything in their power to keep us from winning the war on terror. They sued the government claiming that having terrorists on the no fly lists is against their civil liberties. This is the same organization that is constantly trying to do away with anything Christian. Some examples of this can be seen by them suing over the Ten Commandments public, and the word God in the pledge allegiance. Who do these people think they are? They object everything the Bush administration is trying to do to keep the people of this land safe. Patriot Act, opposed. Guantánamo Bay detainees, want to give them the same rights as a criminal in the United States. The people at Guantánamo Bay are terrorists and the ACLU is saying they deserve the same rights as the American people. Another example of the crime the ACLU commits was provided by the man who looks out for the public, Bill O'Reilly. He reported that the "ACLU says it has evidence that FBI agents in Guantánamo were concerned U.S. military interrogators were abusing detainees there. Wow! The ACLU's outraged that strobe lights and gay porn allegedly were used to break some terror suspects." What is this world coming to? Strobe lights?? The ACLU needs to take a look in the mirror because they are truly the most pathetic organization in America and an embarrassment to this country. Lawmakers are starting to be pretty hypocritical with this Port issue that deals with the sale of ports to a United Arab Emirates company called Dubai Ports World. Many of the same politicians that call out every small instance of racial profiling are the ones doing the racial profiling this time around. Why can we sell our ports to Britain, but not one of our strongest allies in the Middle East?

The liberal media in this country is reaching all time lows in the extensive coverage of Cheney's hunting accident. They are using an accident that could happen to anyone when hunting to rip the Bush Administration. The press has lost perspective of what is actually news in this country. Dick Cheney has always been shy and reluctant with the press and it was no surprise that he didn't come out immediately with the story. This story has been on the front of the papers all week while Al Gore giving people in the Middle East more and more reasons to hate America isn’t even covered in most papers across the United States. Cheney kept the press in the dark slightly while he waited to get the facts on the mans condition. The press in America needs to change quickly because it is going down the tubes. Everyone knows the press hates Bush, and covers him in a bias way. It is getting out of control. Is the shooting accident important to the average American, or is Gore giving the Middle East more reasons to hate America important?

The United States made 13 mistakes when charging people from the Middle East with crimes following the attacks of September 11. 3000 Americans were killed and 13 Muslims were treated poorly. Al Gore, the ex-Vice President went over to Saudi Arabia yesterday and gave a speech about how the American government mistreated the 13 Muslims shortly after September 11. He then went on citing how it was wrong how Saudi’s were being kicked out of the United States for having expired Visa’s shortly after September 11. It is a shame that our ex-VP would go preach to the enemy and give them more fire to fight against the United States. Al Gore needs to apologize to America.

A federal advisory panel issued a warning against ADHD drugs Ritalin and Adderrall. They said that it causes problems with the heart. An 8 to 7 vote resulted in the drugs now carrying the most serious drug-risk warning, "A black box." This ruling has made me change my opinion on adderall. I used to think that it was the greatest drug ever created but now I realize there is a danger when taking the drug.

I feel the cartoon drawings that are fueling protests over cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad are an expression of free speech. The Islam world burns American flags, ridicules our President, and the radicals target foreigners in suicide bombings. When they burn our flag, we don't set fire to their embassy. This is the response our President gets for begging for peaceful protests,"Defending the prophet should continue all over the world. Let Condoleezza Rice and Bush and all the tyrants shut up. We are an Islamic nation that cannot tolerate, be silent or be lax when they insult our prophet and sanctities." I think I might start drawing cartoons of the prophet for that comment.

I recall watching the speech on television the night it was given. It was an emotional appeal that touched all Americans, liberals and conservatives alike. I think President Bush did a great job of reaching out and mourning with the American people and at the same time he was inspirational with phrases like, "freedom itself is under attack." I thoguht it was very important how he spoke out to the Muslims telling them it was not a war against them.

On the boats and on the planes, they’re coming to America, never looking back again, they’re coming to America.” Neil Diamond describes America as the land of the free, a dream land where all want to hail. As of late, it seems to me that more and more people around the globe are hating America rather than recognizing it as the greatest place on Earth.

The United States has been facing international criticism, especially in the Middle East, for our actions ranging from the Vietnam War and our support of Israel, to our support of globalization. Why do they hate us? In a speech after the terrorist attacks on Sept 11, President Bush said, “They hate what they see right here in this chamber — a democratically elected government,” he continued. “They hate our freedoms: our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other.”

America is a democratically elected government that has many freedoms that other around the world do not experience with their respective governments. Most European emigrants left their homelands to escape political oppression, to seek the freedom to practice their religion, or to find opportunities denied them at home. That is what America was and in my opinion, still is today. We are the land where dreams come true. Some of the policies that our government has developed have created some hatred from around the world, but we still are the super power of the world and a dream land.

The underprivileged citizens of the United States would be wealthy in most countries around the world. We are a land where the government looks out for the people of the land. America is the land of the free.

Devlin is the fourth ranked quarterback in the nation and may drag other recruits to Penn State along with him. One five star recruit that committed to USC and now is considering PSU is Vidal Hazelton. He is the best reciever in the nation and if he joins D-Will at reciever, Penn State will have some offensive firepower for years to go.

The United States can be highlighted on violating those articles several times. But the question is do the American people really care? Or is it just the ACLU being the ACLU. I think the Americans are in favor the way Jack Bauer handles things on the hit show 24. He doesn't hesitate to torture or kill terrorists. I think we should do whatever is neccassary to get the job done. Results equal success. Evil needs to be punished. In the first episode this season a sequence went like this "Were you the one who shot President Palmer? Bauer asks. Yes, replies the wounded terrorist, on the floor. Bauer stares at him for two seconds -- then shoots him."

Wow, what a thug. Thats how we need to deal with terrorists.
