Draft Proposal

The topic I would like to write my final paper on is alternate fuel vehicles. Alternate fuel vehicles are vehicles that are powered by another source other than gasoline in a combustion engine. Hybrid vehicles that are currently being produced are better for the environment but they still rely on gasoline as a fuel. Consumers will not actively be looking for an alternative until the prices of gasoline become unbearably high. This is a problem that must be addressed before it becomes a much larger issue. I would like to find some alternative fuels that maybe possible and find which is the most promising for future production.

This matters to anyone who owns, operates, or rides in vehicles that are powered by gasoline combustion engines. It matters because if nothing is done preparatory is done then everyone who uses a vehicle will be in crisis when they can not afford gasoline or can’t get gasoline because of a shortage. If time, money, and research are spent on producing alternative fuel vehicles now then by the time gasoline becomes too expensive or too scarce alternative fuel vehicles will already be being mass produced and sold. This is important to everyone because many of us don’t have extra money sitting around to buy a new car whenever a gas crisis suddenly arises. If the Alternate fuel vehicles are on the market then people can slowly transition to them. Then the consumers can just buy an alternative fuel vehicle instead of a normal car when they are in need of a new vehicle.

I like how you related the problem to ordinary people

Alternative fuel vehicles are very important. However does the government have the funds to mass produce these vehicles which are very expensive to produce at the moment. LazyBoy.
