August 31 2005

Today I had a math qualifying test to see if I could even do well enough to take Math 110. Then I went to English class in Rackley, came back to the dorm, and still haven't eaten anything all day. The book prices for some of my classes are ridiculous, and I already dropped my Spanish class because the teacher spoke fluent Spanish and wouldn't say a word in English. So far i enjoy college but I need to learn to manage my time well and also study unlike in hgih school. In high school I would never study I would occasionaly sleep during class and some days skip it and go to lunch. Now I know that I have to shape up and become a well versed college student.

September 3 2005

Today was my first Penn State game, it was amazing. They won 23-13 although I don't think they played to well they played well enough to win. Michael Robinson has some problems with his throws and I think the offensive line is horrible. Our defense does very well so we should be set on the defensive side of the ball. Now I am waiting to go out and party because tomorrow I should be doing some of my homework and reading.

September 5 2005

The last two nights I've managed to stay out of parties so I could take a break from the college life. Today I went to the pool and basically went nuts jumping off the 7 meter high dive, I would have went off the 10 meter but since I am not properly trained they said I wasn't allowed. But the 7 meter platform stung my feet enough when I hit the water I'm glad I didn't go off the 10 meter because I probably would have got hurt. Then I went to the commons to eat dinner with a couple of my buddies where I was fairly impressed but the grilled chicken sandwich because usually the food sucks. And its Labor Day I didn’t really do anything to celebrate it and plus I don’t have a job at the moment so it doesn’t really matter because I am not laboring.

September 6 2005

Well I just did enough reading to make up all the years in high school I never read anything. History is a very big thing and many things happened apparently because I just read for like two hours. I had an easy day class wise I had economics at one and thats it but all my other time has basically been devoted to reading. The food at the commons was just okay nothing outstanding but I don't think there will every be anything outstanding there. I want a steak and some bbq ribs for dinner and if the commons don't get some soon looks like I'm going to have to find some.

September 8 2005

Right now I am watching the opening night of NFL football I cannot wait for the weekend to start and to go to the next football game. Tomorrow i have three classes math, english, and history. I have to wake up kind of early tomorrow but I still think I am going out tonight maybe look for some fun. But before I leave I'm going to remix my narrative and I have to link mine to others but I still don't understand the whole sampling thing. Eagles play on Monday night against the Falcons I can't wait for that. I love Penn State but my heart will always be with the Philadelphia Eagles, E-A-G-L-E-S WAHOO!!!!!!!!

September 9 2005

It was the summer of 2004 and I along with everyone else who would be a

senior in high school started looking at colleges to attend. At first I knew

to look at Penn State because thats where I've always wanted to go. People would ask if I was going to Penn State and I would reply with a "without a doubt in my mind." I liked Penn State I just could not see myself not being a student there. After visiting several colleges, I knew this one was the one this is where I will further my education. It was a

beautiful day outside, the sun was shining and excitement and anticipation was

in the air because of all the incoming freshmen moving in. Walking around

that day was when I finally realized how beautiful Penn State really was and

started to appreciate everything it had to offer. We went

and toured the campus and I liked it I still knew Penn

State was the place for me. I was also looking at Widener, a school near

Philadelphia, which really appealed to me. Everyone said that Penn State might be to far away but I knew I could handle living on my own four hours away from home. Widener and Penn State are completely opposite schools. Widener is near the city, has only about nine thousand students, and has a rather small campus. Penn State, on the other hand, is a rural campus located out by itself, has more then forty thousand students, and has a large

campus. I was completely sure about my final decision. I thought that I still wanted to go to Penn State even with the four hour drive. Now,after being up here I could not picture myself anywhere else. I love everything about Penn State.

September 10 2005

Well last night was interesting we were downtown having fun, walking around. And my buddy tried to stop two kids from fighting when doing so the one kid suckered him right in the face, he fell and hit the ground. While on the ground another guy came up and kicked my friend in the head. Well after that people began to chase the "kicker", while I was helping my friend get up off the ground. People took care of the "kicker", but after that everyone wanted to leave so we were all not in the same spot. While we were outside Caynon Pizza a cop came up to us and grabs my friend on the shoulder asks him if he was in a fight and he tells the cop that he got hit twice. After that he was questioned and my friend was giving citations which I find to be completely unnecessary considering he never touched/hit anyone he was the kid on the ground.

September 11 2005

Today is the fourth anniversary of 9/11 I can still remember where I was when I heard about it. Freshman year in high school third period Science class, the teacher was Mr. Roache and everyone was completely shocked. Instead of learning we were watching the news, and we watched the second plane hit the tower. Everyone was at a loss for words, school was let out early that day, not one person went out after school. Everyone stayed at home with their family because it wasn't a day for fun it was a day of mourning. Like FDR said about Pearl Harbor, this is also a day that will live in infamy.

September 12 2005

Debate is defined as engaging in an argument by discussing opposing points. Dialogue is defined as a conversation between two people. Debate is just an advanced form of dialogue, debate is stating your point to another or claim and stating reasons which could also be called rhetoric. Dialogue can deal with so many more things than debate, because debate is also a dialogue.

September 14 2005

Well today was pretty boring I had my four classes math, english, business seminar, and finally history. And I am actually just realizing I never went to lunch or dinner, therefore I've been eating junk food all over my room including some of my roommates that he doesn't know about. I also went to target to pick up some things and bus schedules around here are incredibley difficult to understand there is a million buses some you pay for some you don't. Well thats what I get for being a freshman apparently.

September 16 2005

Today I had real food and it was remarkable, I went out to dinner with Lisa's parents and Laura and I had filet mignon and half of Mrs. Nixon's. This is the first time since I've been at Penn State that I had an actually meal, no commons food or fast food. After that I went into different stores and just looked around and I bought a teddy bear for Lisa because she is coming up next weekend. Right now I am waiting to go out, don't know where I am going yet but I'm getting ready for another PSU victory tomorrow against Central Michigan. Let's Go State!

September 17 2005

Yep that's another victory, we crushed Central Michigan 40-3. The team gets better and better every game, I just hope we can carry all the way to the Ohio State game. Well today I went to get my haircut in some guy's apartment that my buddy recommended because I was scared to go to Super Cuts and he did a good job and it was relatively cheap just 10 bucks. Now I am waiting once again to go out and party now I might possibly start my definition argument paper.

September 18 2005

After a disappointing Week 1 for the Philadelphia Eagles are destroying the San Francisco 28-0 nothing after the first half. All the Steelers fans up really piss me off and I think in time we will see who the better team is. Next weekend my family is coming up including my ex-girlfriend, I am excited to see all of them but I’m mad there isn’t a football game next week. Right now I have to write my definitional argument paper so I will wiki later on.

September 20 2005

Well today was a good day so far I only had to go to one class and last night I stayed out and partied on a Monday night can't say I did that to often in high school. I just commented on one of the students in the classes definitional argument and now I have to read two chapters for history in order to write a reflection paragraph on both. After I am done that I will probably go get dinner and then if it doesn't rain we are playing a pick up game of football to get ready for the flag football season. Our teams name is the Pre-Gamers and we should do pretty well, the team consists of my roommate and I and a bunch of kids that went to high school near us.

September 22 2005

So this weekend is parent's weekend and my ex-girlfriend is coming up also. I'm excited to see everyone and hope they have fun while they are here. Today I had my math class and had a quiz sometimes I think that class is so hard and others easy. I still have one class today which is economics but I already did my extra credit homework for that so I am set and ready to go. Now I think I'm going to eat some "food" at the commons, the only thing I know is actually food is the cereal.

September 23 2005

Well I'm sore as all hell, I got a lump on my head, scrapes on my knees and elbows, and my back is all torn up. But it was worth it because yesterday night I played the most intense game of tackle football. It took me and my buddies like two and a half weeks to find people that would actually play tackle football and we were not let down. We basically went score for score and when the one team made a stop it turned out the other team did the same. We decided the game would end in a tie but Mike-man came up with the best idea to do a best of three in rock, paper, scissors shoot! Mike-man took the team on his back and pulled out the victory it was very exciting.

September 25 2005

Today I went to the mall and got new pairs of jeans and sweatpants. My parents also brought me up all kinds of food and other things. Last night I went to Outback Steakhouse and then to a frat party with a bunch of my friends. After I left the first frat they wouldn't let me back in because frat kids are cool like that. Then I had to take care of my cousin because he was sleeping over my dorm because my parents brought him up to see the school. And right now my family and I are going out to dinner and Lisa is accompanying us.

September 26 2005

Well the weekend was great, Free food and family. Penn State pulled out a thriller against Northwestern and I got all kinds of things including shoes, clothes, and junk food. I have one test this week and one at the beginning of next week I am kind of panicing because these will be my first college tests. Economics is on Thursday and I should be okay but some of the vocabulary and policies in that class can get very confusing and History is next Monday which will basically tell me if I am a good note taker or a bad one.

September 28 2005 Enthymeme

An enthymeme that comes to mind for me is that all persons of Arab had something to do with 9/11. Therefore arrogant people tend to believe that all Arab’s are terrorists but in fact it is just a small group of people who terrorized our nation. It has been a tough couple of years for anyone with any ties to Arabian people because people are just so blind sided by the actions and don’t look at the person. I know this enthymeme to be false because I know people of Arabian descent from high school and they had no part to do with anything involving terrorism. They also were just as deeply hurt when our nation was under attack as everyone else was.

September 30 2005

Last night was a good night I went to the frat i decided to pledge to and then went for a party to a frat across the street. There was only one bad thing that happened last night while making are way to Canyon Pizza at around one thirty in the morning, but we didn't make it thanks to bike cops. Details do not matter but bike cops suck. Tomorrow is a big game for Penn State a 4-0 start should be able to get us ranked in the top 25. Let's Go State.

October 1 2005 Analogy

My analogy is ethics is like logic because both require reasoning and thought. Many people have different ethics on many different topics, but by using logic you can discuss how you came to believing in your ethics. People could say that not all decisions require logic but in fact they no matter how small, even picking your cereal for breakfast requires logic. And not all things require ethics to come into play when making a decision but for more important situations it has a heavy role in the decision.

October 3 2005

Today I had my first history test, it wasn't that hard but there was so much information to study but you only need to know a select few. And I got my Economics test back and got a B+ so I was pretty excited about that. Now I have to write some of my Analogy paper which is really confusing me.

October 4 2005

Today was my friend Laura's birthday, we went to Chili's for her birthday and had some real food not commons "food". I also finished my analogy argument which was by far the hardest paper I wrote so far. I am also panicing about how I did on my History test I'm not quite sure when I'll get it back but I hope I did well. I am currently pulling a prank on my neighbor, I stole his TV right out of his dorm and he has no idea.

October 5 2005

I can't wait for this weekend it is going to be insane. Friday night I am going to the O.A.R. concert which should be good with all the Wood boys, Pompe, and Sam. After that their is a party at a local residence downtown. Then Saturday is the big day #16 PSU vs. #6 Ohio State, I cannot wait for that it's going to be insane and we are also going to Jay parent's to get some grub before the game.

October 6 2005

The Pregamers are continuing their road to the Championship. We are 2-0 now, are defeat over the "High Lifes" was a joke we won 34-6. I actually kicked out of the game for tackling a person, which I really didn't mean to I fell forward trying to defend an interception. The refs said that it was incidental contact and it was but the supervisor said I had to sit out the rest of the game. It's ok though because my boys took care of the team without me because we are unstopable.

October 9 2005

Well this weekend was insane, by far the best weekend I've ever had. I went to the best football game of my life this weekend and I also go to hang out with my friend that I haven't seen since first grade and that was also fun. I am going home this weekend coming up to help my parents move because I'm a good son like that. I am also going to have to study math for the rest of the week until Wednesday because I have a test that night and I think math is my hardest class.

October 14,2005

Today I go home for the weekend, I haven't been home since August 26 the day I got up here. Now Happy Valley is an awesome place but I still want to go home and see my friends and family. Next weekend will be back to the regular good times at Penn State though. This weekend I have to help my family move into our new house, it's going to be a long weekend, but I'm a good son and decided I'll come home for the weekend to help my pops move all the crap from one house to the other.

October 16, 2005

This weekend was interesting I went home and I didn't live in the same house I lived in for 10 years. While I was up here in Happy Valley my parents had moved, not far just a couple blocks away but it just was different. If your wondering why I moved a couple blocks away it's because my dad wanted a single house instead of the twin we were living in, and we have to stay in the city limits because my dad is a city police officer. Well everything I had in my room before I left was in my new room when I got home but when I walked in I didn't know where my room actually was. But now I am back at school and everything is back to normal and I'm looking forward to tearing it up this weekend once again.

Pierre-Paul Grasse stated in the 1950's that stigmergy is oblique interaction between insects in social insect society. Grasse originally described stigmergy in his studies of the rebuilding of termite nests. Grasse also stated that it does not depend on the workers but on the nest, by one termite doing a certain activity the nest might catch on and continue to do what the termite was doing. Grasse’s statement was questionable because it left open the important operational issue of how stimuli must be organized in time and space to allow perfect coordination. Stigmergy is a crucial study and not only will help with studying animals but could help in many other things. The certain goals of studying stigmergy are to provide readers from a variety of fields with an overview of what is known (and what is not) about stigmergy in such various contexts as ethology, distributed problem-solving and robotics, - to invite researchers in these fields to present their new work, - and to give the opportunity to researchers from other scientific communities to present their work in the light of stigmergy.

October 18,2005 Bird Flu

In this article about the bird flu they say, "European Union foreign ministers on Tuesday declared the spread of bird flu from Asia into Europe a 'global threat' requiring international action." This is a very bad thing considering later in the article it states "The World Health Organization has expressed fears that alarm in Europe could distract attention from what is the real seat of the danger in southeast Asia. More than 60 people have died of the disease in Asia where, by contrast to Europe, people often live close to poultry and are exposed to a greater peril." One good thing so far it states that no human bird flu cases in Europe have been found yet.

October 19,2005 Hurricane Wilma

In this article it says that the state of Florida has called for an emergency evacuation in a few days. Governor Jeb Bush said, “The state will order evacuations in the coming days and has already begun to prestage relief supplies, such as ice and water. People have come to grow in even more fear than usually due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Here are some facts about the last two big hurricanes this year: Wilma is the third Category 5 storm this year, preceded by Hurricane Katrina, which killed a confirmed 1,250 people when it slammed into Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama as a Category 4 storm on August 29, and Hurricane Rita, which hit Louisiana and Texas on September 24 as a Category 3. Nine deaths have been blamed on Rita. The one good thing about this whole situation is that more people are taking more precaution for the hurricanes that more serious ones have come earlier in the year and the survival rate should go up if the hurricane is drastic.

Plagiarism according to the Oxford English Dictionary is “the wrongful appropriation or purloining, and publication as one's own, of the ideas, or the expression of the ideas (literary, artistic, musical, mechanical, etc.) of another” which I pretty much agree with completely. Now one thing they don’t mention is people when caught plagiarizing tend to say they unknowing did it. Now there are many ways to avoid plagiarism, when in doubt always cite and give credit to the appropriate party. Now plagiarism is a very important factor on all college campuses and new technology allows for a paper to be scanned on a computer and searched throughout the internet for potential plagiarism. The definition is simply do not steal other peoples ideas, although it can rarely be done mistakenly for the most part it is done deliberately and those who exhibit such behavior should pay the consequences.

October 21, 2005

This is an Evaluation argument from BensBlog

When I think of something that is good or bad, one of the first things that comes to mind is smoking. I personally think it is a bad habit and is terrible for you, so when I looked for an evaluative article I found one on smoking. Thesis: While it doesn’t discretely say whether smoking is good or bad, it seems to imply that the ban on smoking in workplaces is good. Irelands smoking ban reaps benefits, found in USA Today talks about the many benefits associated with the ban of smoking in the Irish republic. Reasons: One of the benefits that the article claims that has come about is the lessening of workers to breath in second hand smoke. Because people cannot smoke in workplaces, there is very little chance, if any that a person will breathe in secondhand smoke, which can lead to cancer and heart disease. Another reason the ban is good is that it has there are less respiratory problems in the workplace, and that the air quality in the Republic has increased since the ban. Even smokers say that the ban is a good thing, for one reason, it helps to allow them to quit, and for those that have already quit, it helps them to not start again. The article does bring up a counter-argument to the ban on smoking. The article points out that due to the ban, many pubs have began to see declines in sales and has cost some bar workers their jobs. So while a majority of the people agree that the ban is good, other people see it as bad for their business.

Counter Argument is that many pubs have began to see declines in sale and has cost some bar workers their jobs.

October 23,2005

Yeah so this weekend was pretty good Penn State mangled Illinois 63-10 and than I had few people over before we went out to party down on Beaver Ave. Also today the Eagles came out of left field with a come from behind victory over the Chargers. After the Eagles came I went to Taco Bell with Jay and on our return on the good old loop we realized the kid in the back of the bus was Alan Zemaitis, who happens to be the starting cornerback for Penn State. Now I am blogging and watching the World Series.

October 25, 2005

One more day and half the week will be over. Apparently Homecoming means a lot more in college then it does in high school because everyone is getting ready for it and in high school no one did anything except the dorks on the Homecoming Committee. Also I've learned that State College just skips over the season on Fall considering it just snowed and it's all crappy out. I mean a couple weeks ago it was hot out and now its freezing and snowing although there are a bunch of trees that haven't even lost any of its leaves.

October 26, 2005

The week is half over and the Homecoming game and parade are one day closer. Tonight I had a real dinner, I went to Outback Steakhouse and got a Bloomin' Onion from an appitizer and a Filet Mignon for dinner. This was the first time in a week that I had normal food not from the commons. Right now I'm watching Gladiator because thats the movie I decided to do my Evaluation paper on.

October 28,2005

Big football game today as well as Homecoming, plus my buddies are up from home and last night I had a blast. It's the morning after and I'm practically half dead. I think we are going apartment hunting today because I don't wanna be stuck in a dorm for my whole college experience.

October 30,2005

Well the Eagles got crushed by the Broncos 49-21. But I did attend a smashing Halloween party at Kitchen's Cedarbrook residence. Tonight I'm thinking about seeing "Saw II" although I never saw the first one. People said I should wait and see the first one, but I don't really care because sometimes I get bored on the weekdays. Tomorrow I have a meeting with my advisor and I'm kind of nervous because I don't know what classes I want to take or what major I should explore. I hope things work out.

November 1,2005

I have discovered something since I've been in college, it so good yet so bad all at the same time. I am in the process of trying to get an apartment for next year, but my parents only like one out of the three people I would be moving in with. Then she always brings up the money situation for are family because it is kind of tight having three kids and college and one in a private high school. While the other roommates family's situations aren't half as complex. Now I would love to move into the apartment with the people I had orignally intended to but my parents think that people in the group will start trouble, which in turn would led me to trouble also. I want my mom to be comfortable with my living situation but I also want to be happy at the same time. Looking right now how my parents are talking I'll be the only one of my friends leaving on campus in a dorm.

November 2,2005

What I am thinking on writing my final paper on is steroids in Major League Baseball. I've chosen this because they have taken the game I grew up with, and turned it upside down. The baseball players have made it into the pros yet still decide if I take this drug my performance with be enhanced. If they make it into the pros they should know it was purely on talent, and if you've been taking steroids before you made it to the pros you should realize their cheating and stop immediately. Every since Mark McGwire hit his 70 homeruns in one season, smashing the old record of 61 set by Roger Maris, baseball has been one big conspiracy theory thinking if many players use performance enhancing drugs. McGwire used a drug but at the time it was not illegal in baseball.

November 6, 2005

This weekend was insane with Penn State's victory it just pulls the Lions close to a better bowl game. As for school this next week is going to be hell, I have so much to finish and to start. Tests are coming up again so studying time will increase yet again. Also the Pre-Gamers my flag football team is going to the second round of the playoffs. We are playing the cham pions from last year, I think that the whole team is seniors.

November 7, 2005

Today we reviewed my proposal draft in class and it was apparent I needed to state my audience. They would be the high ranking officials in Major League Baseball who need to make the substance abuse policy more strict. In class for a counter argument was brought up why they don’t just make steroid use legal. If steroids were legal why are we paying athletes so much money for a false sense of talent? You must have some talent to be a professional athlete but abnormal strength from using drugs is cheating and should be banned. If younger people see their ideals using steroids they will automatically think I should use them and I will be a professional and they are sadly mistaken they will just destroy there bodies before they develop fully. We

November 9, 2005

Well this weekend is going to be different, there is no Penn State football game at all. I usually prepare myself for football on the weekend, Friday night go out and have all kinds of fun but I'm always thinking don't get to messed up so you will forget about PSU. Now this weekend might just be one big blur because I don't have to worry about remember the football game. One thing that will keep my attention is my math exam on Monday because currently I have a D in my math class which is not good.

November 10, 2005

I am definitely panicing about picking my classes for next semester because I just feel when I go to pick them they will all be full. Now my roommate had three credits coming into school because he took a math class in the summer so he is done registering. I don't get to pick my classes until Nov. 16 and I just feel all the classes I want and times I want will be gone.

November 11, 2005

I have a math exam on Monday and if I dont pass it I will probably fail math so I am going to try and study a lot this weekend. I got a 60 on the first test but all my quiz grades are good because we can use our notes. So if I fail this next exam I will have to do so good on the final just to get a D. I can't wait until this semester is over I need to sit and relax so much.

November 12, 2005

This weekend is different to say the least. Last night I went out but I got back in at two o'clock in the morning and I didn't even go downtown. I usually manage to go downtown and usually arrive back at Brumbaugh around three to four o'clock in the morning. I got some well needed sleep I assume and practiced some math problems for my test. I am also concerned about the final English paper just because ten to tweleve pages sounds like a lot but my topic is something that interests me greatly so I guess I'll be fine.

November 14, 2005

Wow! So today I took my math exam and I completely unsure on how I did. It involves a big dilemma, Wednesday is the last day that I can drop a class. I don't want to go into finals week wondering about passing or a failing the whole subject. The last thing I need is a certain grade just so I can pass the course. One reason that all of this came into play is because in high school I wasn't taught the basics of calculus I need to know for this class. Pray for me if you read this....

November 15, 2005

You didn't pray hard enough I got a 45 and failed. I also late dropped my math class.

November 16, 2005

Yesterday Major League Baseball changed their steroid policy from 10 games for a first offense to a 50 game suspension for a first offense. The second offense is now a 100 game suspension and the third offense is a life time ban from the sport. My final project was going to be a proposal argument to the Commissioner of the MLB to toughen the steroid policy. Since they changed it now I have to decide on a new topic for my final project and I'm in quite a predicament.

November 18,2005

I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving. I am going to eat real food for a week it will be amazing. I'm leaving Monday after my History class, so I should be home around 4:30 or 5:00. I can't wait to see my family, friends, and my new house. But before I go home I must have a good weekend, my feeling for tongiht is that I am going to have a good night. I'm out.....

November 21,2005

Wow being home is such a big change I can't wait to see my friends and brothers. My whole family is excited about Penn State's big win on Saturday winning the Big Ten. And everyone asks me if I'm glad that I chose to go to PSU and everyone knows the answer is a yes. The only downfall of school so far is having to late drop my math class and finding my new topic for my final paper.

November 22, 2005

I think I might have a topic for my final paper, I might do why strikes in Professional sports destroy the sports reputation and how the strikes occur and how they could be resolved so they won't happen again.

November 27, 2005

I suppose I didn't have to blog during Thanksgiving I hope I didn't. I recently moved and my house is basically in shambles, there are boxes all over the place and many things in my house are getting fixed. During the break I attempted to do my some of my proposal draft but my computer was not cooperating with me. And plus the cable modem was giving some trouble also. I am having trouble developing my paper but now since I'm back at school I think it will be easier to concentrate on the project and finish what I need to do.

Today's classes were long, I guess just because it was the first day after break. I have to start my English Final Paper I think it's going to be very challanging because I never really wrote a paper this long. In business seminar my teacher is allowing us to watch the movie "Crash" to show ethic diversity. My history class was normal we just wrote notes like always. As soon as my English paper I am pretty much done until finals.

It's raining like crazy right now, I stole my roommates umbrella so I wouldn't get soaked walking to Economics class. I should start my English paper since it's not nice outside and I'm not really doing anything. The only thing is our proposals aren't going to be graded until Friday so how am I suppose to know if I should use my proposal as a guide to my writing or rethink my position.

Well today my mom wouldn't allow me to get an apartment. So next year I'll be living in dorms so that sucks. And now my friends I was suppose to get the apartment with are going to be very pissed. Also I'm writing my English paper and all I can think is how am I going to make this paper 10 pages. This is such a good semester.

Today was a little better I got more to paper now since the comments in class. I'm up to about seven and half pages I still need about 650 words to meet the minimum requirement I think I'll finish sometime during the weekend. I also have to do some history homework and then I'm going to relax.

I think that I am flying home after the semester is over. I originally thought that it was weird considering I'm only a three hour drive from University Park. But I think my dad can get my ticket to fly home for very cheap because he work at the airport in Philadelphia. I finished my english paper today, now I just have to get people to proofread it.

Wow I did absolutely nothing today except sit around and watch football. But I'm playing basketball in about thirty minutes so that should be interesting because I suck. I can't wait for the semester to be done so I can just go home relax and hang out with my friends and family. I hope that my GPA is about a 3.0 because if not my mom is going to kill me because I only had 4 classes.

Today I signed the lease for my apartment next year. I am going to be living in The Legend room 207. They showed us the apartment today and it was funny because people are still currently living in there. The apartment was a total mess there were clothes and anything you can imagine everywhere. The salesperson was like by the way yes we do get the room cleaned before you come in and rent.
